Stuffed LE RUSTIQUE camembert with Poached Pear Honey and Walnuts
Pinch of French 4-spice powder (ground pepper, cloves, nutmeg and ginger)
Le Rustique Camembert 250g
1) Place the water, sugar and 4-spice powder into a small saucepan. Add the peeled ½ pear and simmer for about 15 minutes. Drain and set aside on paper towels.
2) Cut Le Rustique Camembert in half lengthways. Place the crushed nuts on the first half, pressing lightly to make them stick to the cheese. On the second half, place the pear cut into thin slices. Season with pepper, then drizzle with honey on the walnut side, and bring the Camembert halves together.
3) Wrap tightly in cling film and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
4) Remove the camembert from the cling film and serve with bread.
